Tenants and visitors – Of mice and kestrels

Wildlife in our country house

Our country house in Čistá near Litomyšl has several animal tenants: redstarts, nuthatches, bats and martens. In 2022, we discovered in the attic above the barn pellets, that indicate the presence of a barn owl. Therefore, in December 2024, we installed a camera trap there. The yard and garden of the house are full of other animals, some of which move into the house for the winter.
